My husband saw the truck while passing by. We live in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. There were about 28 people in line. He went ahead and waited. There were more people behind him. I’m a fish & chips lover. Theses were delicious!! The beer batter they used was crispy. The cod fish was so good. They were pretty good in size too. The fries are deep fried perfectly & crispy too. Just the way I likes it. Loved their Tatar sauce. A great experience. We’ll be back when in our town again!!!

The fish and chips are the only thing they serve here and that's because they perfect it, even in a food truck. The cod is lightly battered and cooked to order until golden crisp, and the fries are hearty but with the necessary crunch and seasoning. Use all of the sauces! Tarter, malt vinegar, and the ringer was the spicy sweet chili that worked for everything. Great price point, with great quality fish, and large portions. We were surprised to see the truck pull up to our location in Lead, South Dakota. Left more than satisfied without the typical grease hangover.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great tasting fish. The chips are fantastic too. First time trying the root beer and recommend also. Any time the food truck is around I try to stop by to get this delicious meal.

We tried this place when they were in Farmers Branch, Texas, and it was so good!! Fish and chips were both cooked very well, with lots of flavor. The tartar sauce had a nice pickled flavor to it which was awesome! And the service was very friendly. Definitely will be back when the food truck comes around again.

So we went to one of the trucks the company has that travels around. The one I visited came to Greenville, TX and my family had been keeping an eye on it for a while on Facebook. I will start out, I don't like cod. Never been a fan, I was expecting to give them my pieces after trying it and just eat the fries. Nope, I kept them. It was that good where I wanted to eat my cod. The breading they use makes the fries some of the best I've had, and the cod just doesn't have that fishy taste I've never been a fan of. The sauces they give are also very tasty and go along well with the food. My family likes either one of them if not both, so you don't need to worry about having to find something to dip the fish in. The last thing is the service. At least for the traveling trucks. They got the wait time down to an art. If they tell you they will be done in 8 minutes, it will be ready in 8 minutes. All in all, check Facebook to see if they come by your city and make sure to get it that day. It's worth it. Every penny of the price they give you worth it.

Drove past the yellow truck in the Lowe’s parking lot (Dardenne Prarie). We saw folks standing outside the yellow truck ordering and waiting for food. Finished grocery shopping and drove over further investigate. Awesome staff & customer service. Food was as good if not better. You really need to stop if you see the yellow truck.

The fish was Fresh and the fries were great. I really loved the Sriracha mayo. The food truck was in Marion Iowa when we tried it. I still love the-hipster fish and chips the most in the Cedar Rapids/Marion area but enjoyed our experience at On the hook fish and chips.
